Your personal information
We collect and process some or all of the following types of information from you:
- Information that you provide when you apply for a role. This includes information provided through an online job site, via email, in person at interviews and/or by any other method
- In particular, we process personal details such as name, email address, address, date of birth, qualifications, experience, information relating to your employment history, skills and experience that you provide to us
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence
- Details of all actions that you carry out through the use of the services
Uses made of your information
Lawful basis for process
We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your personal data. Our legitimate interests are the recruitment of staff for our business.
Purposes of processing
We use information held about you in the following ways:
- To consider your application in respect of a role for which you have applied
- To consider your application in respect of other roles
- To communicate with you in respect of the recruitment process
How we store your personal data
We take the security of your personal data seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your personal data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.
Who has access to your personal data?
Your information may be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes members of the HR and recruitment team, managers in the business area with a vacancy (including our clients) and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.
How long we keep your personal data
If your application for employment is unsuccessful, the organisation will hold your personal data on file for 24 months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your personal data is deleted or destroyed.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and member states internal legislation you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data. You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to restrict processing, object to processing as well as in certain circumstances the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent given to Runway Group to process your personal data at any time.

What if you do not provide personal data?
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide personal data to Runway Group during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we won’t be able to process your application.
